Mead

Mead is good stuff. Looks fairly easy to make.
12 lbs of honey appears to be 1 gallon.
12 lbs of honey makes 5 gallons of mead.
1 gallon is 128 ounces.
1 honey bear is 8 ounces.
16 honey bears is 1 gallon.
5 gallons is 640 ounces.
640 / 16 = 40.
40 ounces is 1 qt (32 ounces) + 1 cup (8 ounces).

So, If I want to try making a smaller batch of mead than say 5 gallons, call it a test batch maybe, all i need is a Honey bear and a little over a quart of water.
Not that processed honey is going to make the best mead, but it'll be a start.

Now to figure out how much yeast to use.
