Friday looms darkly on the horizon.
The time draws close where I must relinquish yet another decade of my allotted time on this earth to the annals of history.
You go along in your day-to-day existence, working with your head down, paying attention only to what's in front of you until, all of a sudden you look around and realize 3 decades have passed.
I have to get to work on that whole goals section... Maybe start my own bucket list...

This is the revisited PVP blog. Apparently, getting all psyched up about the hunter meant that as soon as 2.4 hit I had to log in, purchase all the blue pvp balance gear for my druid and respec him moonkin to go pewpew in the BGs.
So I have roughly 580 Spelldmg and 750 healing currently.
Almost enough honor to swap out the t2 bracers for the pvp ones.
It's either that, or I wait and save up to get one of the S1 weapons.
Which means I'll be doing a lot of EOTS.
Or, in the case of the staff, I think I have all the AV marks I need...

So yeah, got interested in killing things with the hunter again.

As you should be able to tell from the profile linked above I have finally spent my 2k arena points that were just sitting idle waiting for a use.

I picked up the Hunter-only 2handed axe and the Merciless gloves. I think my next acquisition will have to be the shoulders so I can get the extra 35 resilience from the set bonus.

With the axe and the gloves, that brings my total resilience up to a whopping 54. With the shoulders (once I earn another 1230 pts orso) I will have 110 w/ no gems or socket bonus.

With a couple of resil gems in there, I could be sitting at 126 fairly easily and cheaply.

And my Caseybear finished the daily bg for me, so I went and lost a WSG and an AB and won an EOTS.

If I keep up the bg running, I will have the chain bracers, belt and boots in no time, and can work on the ring, neck, trink. And if I can get some heroics/kara/whatever in, I can get the 60 badges (17 of which I already have) for the cloak.

Of course, what I really want is the Gun.

Acclimation process

So, as with any new environment, there is an adjustment period.
Looks like everything is going well on that account.
Which is good, becaue I have got to be the happiest guy on the face of the planet currently.
My baby's here, we made it back, ain't life grand.
Btw, 18 hours in a uhaul truck sucks butt.

The next big step...

March 18th...
My ride to the airport will be here shortly.
Can't eat, stomach too active.
Nervous, scared, excited, anxious.
Lots of preparation has gone into this so far...
Can't wait.

Looking at getting a domain name registered.
Maybe a google apps site so I can learn how to throw together a wiki.

Also, Gary Gygax died yesterday.
That guy was a great example of 'doing what you love'.
I only wish I can find something as enjoyable and nifty as he did to make a living from.
Guess that goes back to the old list of goals and what I need to start back on...
